The scores are kept in a dat file and also a backup file. You enter the course rating and slope, along with your score and the program will figure the handicap index for you, based on the number of scores you select. The default number is 10, with your last 20 scores being displayed. The backup file will keep up to 200 scores and you can replace your main database scores with the backups through the program or edit any of the scores, dates, course rating or course slopes. There is a help program included with the GolfHandicap program for your ease of use.
